The Hybrid Nature Of Yoli Compensation Plan

March 6th, 2010 · No Comments · Uncategorized

Saying that multilevel marketing compensation plans can be confusing for the uninitiated is a severe understatement. With unilevel plans, binary plans, value points, and all of the other jargon that can be involved a multilevel marketing compensation plan can be as easy to understand as a book written in an alien language. The hybrid nature of the Yoli compensation plan can only add to that trickiness.

In a binary system you place your recruits and the recruits of your recruits (your downline network) into one of two or more legs in your organization. Monthly volume bonuses are typically a percentage of the lowest performing leg in your organization.

At early levels in a multilevel marketing program having your commission based on your lowest performing leg may not seem very significant. However for people that are highly skilled at recruitment it could be frustrating to build up an extensive downline network that generates hundreds of thousands in sales which you get no compensation for.

This is why the Yoli compensation plan is considered a hybrid plan. While placement and sales are primarily tracked through the binary system at a certain point an “executive” unilevel compensation system begins.

The advantage of a unilevel system is that is usually a little easier to understand. With commissions based on recruits and promotions determining the number of “levels” beneath you that contribute to your commission. These plans encourage recruitment on a mass scale but they also tend to lead to direct competition between distributors which can be counterproductive.

The Yoli compensation plan was specifically designed to bring the best of the binary and unilevel systems together without any of their weaknesses. By using a binary placement system for the group commissions and the unilevel executive system to promote recruiting they provide incentive for recruitment while at the same time encouraging cooperation amongst distributors.

The Yoli compensation plan includes a number of bonuses, a recruitment bonus, a fast start bonus, and there is even a “break even” bonus. All of these bonuses are designed to encourage both recruitment and increased autoship orders. Recruitment and “starting” bonuses are both relatively common in the MLM industry.

The Yoli compensation plan has lots of levels to it and it making it to the top of their plan could have a considerable impact on your personal economy. Ultimately though Yoli is like all multilevel marketing opportunities, you have to know how to market if you expect to do well.
